Jersey No. 11 has one of the more interesting stories in team history. Worn by only six players, it has been the choice of quarterbacks and specialists including a replacement player who resurrected his career and the franchise’s all-time leading scorer.

K Sebastian Janikowski is the all-time leading scorer in Raiders history.

Don Heinrich – QB – 1962

Heinrich, who finished his career with one season with the Raiders, started one game in 1962 and completed 10 of 29 pass attempts for 156 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs. He played for the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys before joining the Raiders.

Mike Eischeid – K/P – 1966-71

Eischeid was the Raiders kicker and punter in 1966. He made 11 of 26 field goal attempts and 37 of 37 extra point attempts. George Blanda joined the Raiders in 1967. From 1966-71, Eischeid punted 364 times for 15,381 yards (4th in Raiders history) for an average of 42.3 yards per punt. He finished his career with three season with the Minnesota Vikings.

David Humm – QB – 1975-79, 1983-84

Humm, originally selected in the 5th round of the 1975 NFL Draft by the Raiders, won two Super Bowls in two tours of duty with the Silver and Black. He saw action in 76 games and completed 39 of 76 pass attempts for 494 yards, 3TDs and 4 INTs. He also played for the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Colts.

Vince Evans – QB – 1987-1995

After playing for the Chicago Bears from 1977-83, Evans joined the Raiders as a replacement player during the 1987 players strike. He earned a spot on the team when the strike ended. He saw action in 44 games with 7 starts and completed 240 of 437 pass attempts for 3,313 yards, 21 TDs and 21 INTs.

David Klingler – QB – 1996

Klingler wore jersey No. 7 in 1997 after wearing No. 11 in 1996. He wore No. 7 in only one game and went 4-of-7 for 27 yards and an interception. It was his last NFL appearance of his career. He went 10 of 24 for 87 yards in his one appearance in jersey No. 11 in 1996.

Sebastian Janikowski – K – 2000 – present

Janikowski, originally selected in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft, is the Raiders all-time leading scorer. He has made 364 of 454 field goal attempts and 482 of 485 extra point attempts for a total of 1,574 points. He has made six field goals of 56 yards or longer including a then-NFL-record-tying 63-yard field goal against the Broncos in Denver in 2011.
